With more vertical pump type aerators in use in North America than any other manufacturer, Kasco Pond Aerators have been field tested and proven to be the best. Kasco Pond Aerators are the best choice for surface aeration when a decorative fountain pattern is neither necessary or desired. Kasco Pond Aerators agitate high volumes of water at the surface to maximize exposure of water to the air for gas exchange greatly improving your pond or lake aeration. Auburn University has performed tests on Kasco Pond Aerators and has found that Kasco's Aerators SAE (Standard Aeration Efficiency) for all models is at least 3.0 lbs. of oxygen per horsepower per hour of operation. All Kasco Pond Aerators are self-contained, light weight units that float at the surface with a single power cord returning to shore and two (or 3 with the 8400/AF) mooring lines anchoring the Aerator, which makes Kasco Pond Aerators very easy to install and move with a single person. With a Standard Aeration Efficiency of 3.0 and the lightweight portability users have come to expect from Kasco equipment makes Kasco Pond Aerators an excellent choice for continuous duty pond or lake aeration or supplemental pond or lake aeration for quick use in emergency situation.

Superior dependability in salt-water or other corrosive environments. All external metal motor, float, and hardware components are of stainless steel composition and protected by a sacrificial zinc anode.
Requires minimal maintenance. We recommend cleaning the stainless steel motor housing once or twice per year and replacing the sacrificial zinc anode when visibly corroded.
